Join us for Hiroshima Day vigil

Our annual event for Hiroshima Day on August 6th will be a little different as we hope to be joined by members of the local Japanese community.

They’ll be handing out paper cranes (the crane is the bird of happiness and peace in Japanese culture) and paper doves (the peace symbol in Western culture).

We’ll be gathering just before noon in the centre of Redhill, as near as possible to the pedestrianised crossroads near Lloyds Bank and the Junction pub.
